In 2026, we partnered with Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary to deliver their Jane Goodall Institute’s Roots & Shoots Programme in schools across Kenema District, eastern Sierra Leone.
Through this collaboration, we provide training and learning resources to students on biodiversity conservation, climate action, environmental leadership, and community mobilisation while establishing Roots & Shoots environmental clubs in participating schools. These clubs empower young people to become active environmental champions by leading environmental awareness campaigns, conservation programs, peer to peer learning and other environmental initiatives within their schools and communities.
