Location: Kenema District, Sierra Leone
Environmental education remains at the heart of our mission. In 2025, we expanded our Environmental Education Programme called The Environmental Journey from a small number of schools to 10 primary and secondary schools, reaching more than 1,000 students.
Through interactive lessons, practical activities, and environmental clubs, students learned about climate change, biodiversity conservation, waste management, tree planting, and sustainable living. By empowering young people with knowledge and practical skills, the programme is helping to develop the next generation of environmental leaders who will play an important role in protecting Sierra Leone’s forests.
