In 2024, we partnered with schools and the rural community of Bafawahun to promote climate-smart agriculture and sustainable farming. Through practical, hands-on learning, students and community members gained knowledge of sustainable farming techniques that improve food security while protecting the environment.
We established school gardens in two schools, allowing students to learn by growing vegetables and applying sustainable agricultural practices. We also worked alongside the people of Bafawahun to establish a community sweet potato demonstration garden, showcasing new farming techniques that can improve soil health and household livelihoods.
